This research is descriptive qualitative research. Determination of informants in this study was carried out by purposive sampling method. Data collection was done by observation, interview, and literature study. Data validation was done through source triangulation which was then </span></span><span class="s13"><span class="bumpedFont17">analysed</span></span><span class="s13"><span class="bumpedFont17"> with qualitative data analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman.</span></span> <span class="s13"><span class="bumpedFont17">The results showed that: (1) performance RFID in the library includes easy and fast access to information and identification of library materials; (2) information RFID produces accurate and relevant information; (3) </span></span><span class="s13"><span class="bumpedFont17">econonmy</span></span><span class="s13"><span class="bumpedFont17"> RFID in the library only has procurement costs at the beginning of installation, but as the number of books that must be installed RFID decreases, the budget began not to be submitted. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data<br>were collected through questionnaires distributed to 381 students selected using Slovin's formula<br>from a total of 8,060 followers. The research instrument was based on the Uses and Gratification<br>theory, which includes cognitive, affective, personal, social, and escapist needs. The results show<br>that the account generally supports students' information needs with an average score of 3.21.<br>Cognitive needs scored the highest (3.34), followed by personal (3.29), social (3.20), affective<br>(3.17), and escapist (3.06). These findings indicate that students mainly use the account to obtain<br>academic information and strengthen personal identity. The purpose of this research is to analyze the transformation of the role of Padang State University Library in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This Research uses a descriptive qualitative approach and data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. In this study, reserachers used data validity testing through triangulation and source triangulation. In this study there were five people as informants consisting of the head of the library and librarians at the Padang State University Library. aThe transformation that has been carried out by the library is reflected in the provision of optimal services, the implementation of information literacy programs, the provision of open access to scientific information sources, and involment in emprowering the academic community and society. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with 3 (three) informants selected through purposive sampling. The data collection was carried out through observation, interview, and documentation. Data validation was carried out by triangulating techniques, by equating the research results obtained based on 3 (three) different data collection techniques which were then analysed through 3 (three) stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of a special library in the Class 1A Padang District Court Library has not fully complied with the 6 (six) aspects in the National Standard for Special Libraries Number 7 of 2022.
